Privacy Policy

RidePose helps drivers find and share places to photograph their cars. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and the display name you choose. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from them.
• What you post: car photos, vehicle names, captions, spot names, spot locations and tips. Posts and spots are public.
• Photo location: when you pick a photo, the app reads its location on your device to suggest the nearest spot. Before upload, the photo is re-saved without its hidden location (GPS) data.
• Your location: only when you tap "use my location," to center the map or pin a new spot. We don't track your location in the background.
• Activity: likes, reports you file and people you block.
• Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser and device type, kept by our hosting providers for security and reliability.

How we use it

• To run RidePose: show spots and photos, credit your posts, and keep you signed in.
• To keep the community safe: review reports, hide abusive content and enforce our Terms.
• To show ads that keep RidePose free (see below).

We don't sell your personal information.

Services we rely on

• Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase): stores accounts, posts and photos.
• Cloudflare: hosts the website and protects it from attacks.
• Google Maps Platform: shows the map and suggested places. Google's privacy policy applies to your use of Google Maps.
• Google AdSense and AdMob: show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show and measure ads. You can turn off personalized ads at Google Ad Settings. On iPhone, we ask permission before any tracking.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and posts until you delete them or your account. Reports are kept for up to 2 years to handle repeat abuse. Hosting logs are kept for a short time by our providers.

Your choices

• Delete a post: remove it any time.
• Delete your account: open the account menu and choose "Delete account." This removes your login, profile, photos, posts and likes. Spots you created stay on the map without your name.
• Get a copy of your data or ask a question: email support@ridepose.com.

Children

RidePose is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for big changes, tell you in the app.
